Second Class Scout
James has been busy with scouts and has finished his Second Class Rank Advancement. He is only a few requirements away from finishing the First Class Rank Advancement. He also received his Family Life Merit Badge. The Family Life badge required James to keep track of his chores for three months and do two projects one at home for the family and one with the family for someone else. He is not far from completing the Personal Management Merit Badge also. Not bad for only being in since September. He has a lot of fun in scouts and loves to go camping. He dragged me along on the Klondike Derby it only got down to 16 degrees at night and warmed up to a nice warm 34 degrees. I managed to keep him warm and dry to survive the night. We pumped a lot of hot chocolate into his body and buried him deep into his sleeping bag for the night. The next day they competed and placed 3rd over all in the scout competitions and they had 5, 11 year old scouts and 3 older boys, not bad for 11 year olds competing against 12, 13, 14, 15, and 16 year old experienced scouts.

Wow! Way to go James. you are amazing. Did you have to do your chores every day for three months or just keep track of them. Impressive anyway you look at it.
James...you are totally awesome dude! How do I get a mom pin?
