Bear Den

Caden is moving up to the Bear Den. He has been in cub scouts for a year now. He's had his wolf badge almost from the beginning. I know some of you think we are too pushy but he is extremely excited the minute he had his Bear book in his hands he's been looking at what he can do immediately. He's been in mom's den since he's been in scouting. He's really excited to finally be going somewhere else for scouts especially to Grandma's. Since he's been in the Wolf den working with the other boys he's probably done the wolf requirements at least three times and earned enough arrow points the scout office quit keeping record because their computer didn't have another space to record it.

Grandma's already warned him that he can do things at home, but just be ready to duplicate things if he does. Caden loves scouts he's been doing things with the scouts since James was first in the Wolf den(with Mom being the the den leader). Caden works hard and likes to things right the first time. He hates to make mistakes(I wonder where he got that).

Lately he has been able to somehow get his teachers to give him 100%'s when he clearly missed(the answer was marked in red) or failed to finish the assignment. I think he flashes his dimpled smile, winks at her, or raises his one eyebrow at her.

He loves his new Bear book with new skills to learn and do.

Caden got to sit by his grandparents at the Blue and Gold Banquet. We had sloppy joes, salads, and chips. Caden ate mostly chips. We'll see how ths works out for him when its time to serve a mission.
