December's Happenings

We had KJ join us for four days at the beginning of December.  They dropped him off early Thursday morning and came back on Sunday night.  We had a lot of fun having him play at our house.  I think he really enjoyed himself most of the time.  He loved playing with the kids and we took him many places with us.  We watched Buzz Lightyear and Spiderman many times with him.  We went to an award ceremony for James' reflections he moved on from council to region.  We are so excited for him.  Then we went to pack meeting for Caden were he earned another arrow point.  He is doing a great job in his scouts.

On Saturday the 5th we went to have breakfast with Santa.  The kids look forward to this every year with Rick's work.  It is so much fun.  I Love this picture of the kids and KJ at Gardener village.  We then walked around and looked at there displays of elves they are really cute.  It was freezing though.  We then went to Quilted Bear and saw these live reindeer. They were really cool. The kids were a little standoffish though.

Here is our Christmas tree this year.  We have 8 strands of LED lights.  I want to get two more though but it really cool all light up.  It was finally warm enough when it snowed for the kids to go out and play.  They had so much fun out there.  It was hard to get them to come in.  They were frozen but having a great time.  This is the first year that Lacey has really played in the snow.  If she has her boots on she is always walking in any pile that she can find.
James starting a snowman army and a a snow fort.  He just got back from an over nighter.  He had a lot of fun but used way toooo many hand warmers.

Lacey just happy to be outside.

Rick just celebrated his birthday.  We had a good time as a family.  We went to Carls Jr. for dinner and then had cake and ice cream.   We love you Rick hope that you had a great day.
