Random things!

My washer decided to break down last night and not spin out my last load which happens to be towels of course.  I got the piece today for $20 dollars and Rick had it in in twenty minutes.  Sure beats a repair man, or a new one.
Caden as Al Capone.  He had to do an oral report and a wax museum for school.  It was suppose to be a great American Hero but we did not know that when he picked him.  His teacher let him still do Al Capone because she wanted to know more about him.  He was a very interesting man.  He started the first soup kitchens after the depression.  He also gave clothes and groceries to the poor out of his own pocket.
Caden received full points for his report and his wax museum.  It was fun to go to.
Here's some pictures from Dr. Seuss Day We had a lot of fun with the kids the firemen came and read to the kids.  The city council was in meetings so they could not come that day.  We had a great time though.

Brandon Mull also came to the school. It was one of the first weeks I was really sick but I still went to the school to listen to him talk.  He is a great speaker and really encourages the kids to write and experience things and even the embarrassing things can make for great stories.  It was awesome.  Here is Caden with him and then him speaking.  We love his books.  He even signed my Candy Shop Wars book.  My favorite by the way.
