Summer 2010 part one!

 

We went to the Zoo a few weeks ago.  It was so nice not to hot or anything.  The animals were all out and it was fun to see them.  The kids were facinated by this crocidile with his mouth wide open.  The Giraffes are always one of  our favorites.  We also like the ape house but could not stay there long do to all the cotton that was in the air that day.  We had a great time getting away for the morning. 

They had these two eagles at the enterance of the Zoo.  It was awesome to see them so close.  They are such awesome creatures to look at.  I'm not sure about them being on leashes but it is a great time to see them close and learn more about them.  Were else could the kids see them close and enjoy them. 

At the end of June we took our annual trip to St. George.  It was so much fun.  We started it off with a field trip to the Parowan Gap to see the petrigliphs.  It was so facinating to see these on the mountain.  We had a lot of fun looking and taking many picutes of them.  The kids also enjoyed seeing these remains.  We then went and spent the evening and the next morning with Brian and Audrey and their two cute girls.  We had a lot of fun playing and visiting with them.  Thanks for letting us stay with you. 

The next day we headed down to St. George.  We met my family at Pirate Island for lunch.  It was really fun but a little disappointed that the cannons did not fire while we were there.  The kids had fun sitting with their cousins at their own table.  After lunch we went to the Rosenbach Museum it was cool we usually go about every other year or so.  The kids love to see all the animals. 

One July 3rd was Kamie day.  One of the kids favorite days of the year.  This year was no exception.  They did many crafts, and more crafts.  We had wonderful food.  They played in the water.  Had more wonderful food.  Then BINGO.  Yeah we love BINGO.  It was a great time had by all even Lacey who wasn't feeling well and sat in her chair most of the day.  A few days later she noticed that Magen had a new bracelet and asked where she got it.  She said at Kamie day.  Lacey was very disappointed but didn't (I don't think) realize all she missed that day.  Thanks Kamie for a wonderful day!!!
