We finally got Magen's and Caden's reflections back from the regional level. They did such a great job with their pictures. Magen's was Together we can see eye to eye. Caden's was Together we can think things through. James' is still on display at the school. Someday will get it back too.
We celebrated Caden's and Sydney's birthdays after Sydney's baptism it was fun to be with the family. What a great day for Syd too.
Thursday was Caden's birthday. On Wednesday we took the boys to scouts and took a quick trip to Target. He knew he was getting a bike and we told him we would probably have to get it on Saturday. So we got it put it in the living room and turned off the lights. He saw the shadow and found it the second he came home from scouts. Boy was he excited.
They had an awards assembly on Thursday at the school- they are fun assemblies to see because it shows all the hard work the kids and teachers are putting in. Here is Lacey with the ones from her class that earned an award. Below is Magen with her class that had earned awards. The kids are working hard and doing great in school.
Caden was also called up with his class. His teacher called him up last as the Birthday boy. It was fun to see him smirk as she did. The principal talked about going to college and shooting for that goal of a degree. He asked about different schools around the state and had them raise their hands, Caden's of course immediately went up for the U of U.
Here is Caden opening his small gifts of candy. Can't get to much more when you get a bike. He was very happy with the color and what we had picked for him. We also went to dinner at Carl's Jr. which was his second choice since Apollo didn't have shrimp like he wanted. It was a fun time.
Isn't that a cool picture with the smoke from the candles. The flames on these candles burned the color of the candle. They were prisma color candles and they were really cool. Kirt and Marcia came by to give Caden a present but could not have cake because they are trying a new diet. The rest of us were to full so we ended up saving it until Friday to eat.
On Friday we made homemade pizza and Caden's friend from school came by with a present it was fun for him to have them come by. He was really surprised. Caden we hope that you had a great day and we love you so so much!!!
